Terms & Conditions

Lotus Parking Limited, trading as Lotus Parking, is acting as an agent for the individual local airport car parking suppliers. In making your booking you have agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of for Lotus Parking Ltd. All of the car park services offered by Lotus Parking are based off-site, unless otherwise stated.

All clients will be issued with a booking reference number and car parking voucher from Lotus Parking, before departure from the UK. Lotus Parking Ltd is an agent for the advertised/featured car parks

1. BOOKINGS

It is the customers responsibility to provide a valid email address and mobile contact number on the booking form when making the booking.

Lotus Parking will endeavour to ensure that your confirmation voucher is emailed to the email address you provide on the booking form. If for any reason your confirmation voucher has not been received you must contact us immediately as no refund is available for no shows or if cancellation is received less than 24 hours before you are due to arrive at the car park. It is the customer`s responsibility to ensure you have directions to your car park or your full arrival instructions for meet and greet. Please ensure you have your booking confirmation voucher and/or booking reference with when you travel. This will identify you as a Lotus Parking customer and enable the service provider to verify your booking.

Where you have booked a car park that requires you to use credit card entry and exit procedures please ensure you have with you the credit card with which you have booked.

2. PARKING

We strongly request all customers to ensure they arrive at the car park/terminal with plenty of time to achieve their flight check-in.

Please make sure you have the chauffeur's telephone number, and details of arrival procedure as stated on your booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to obtain this information before departing for the airport - any missed bookings, flights or other problems arising from the customer's failure to obtain this information will not be compensated by Lotus Parking or any of our affiliates.

High-sided or unusually wide vehicles: Not all car parks can accommodate them or there may be an extra charge or can be refused.

Please remove all items and leave only the keys required to move your vehicle. You must be prepared to leave your car keys with car park staff if requested to do so unless otherwise stated.

You must ensure that, before leaving the vehicle with the car parking company that it is in a roadworthy condition, taxed, holds a current MOT and with sufficient fuel to move the vehicle to the parking compound and back. If your vehicle is not roadworthy or does not display the road tax or you cannot show proof of a new application at the time of your collection you will be refused service and you won’t be eligible for any refund.

The car parking company reserves the right to move the vehicle within or outside the car parks by driving or otherwise to such extent as the car parking company, may in their discretion think necessary for the efficient arrangement of its parking facilities at the car parks, or in emergencies or to avoid accidents or obstructions.

Car parking suppliers may require you to use alternative car parks to the ones indicated, particularly at peak periods.

Unless you have booked a self-park product, you will be required to leave your keys.

It is important that you keep your car parking voucher safe whilst on holiday. Local car parking suppliers have a lien for all charges due and will only release your car on production of this receipt or payment of the appropriate amount.

3. PAYMENTS

Lotus Parking accepts Visa, MasterCard and Switch/Maestro. Cheques cannot be accepted as payment.

Lotus Parking will accept bookings made using a Lotus Parking issued voucher code which entitles the customer to a further discount off the cost of their airport parking. Lotus Parking issued discount codes can only be used at www.lotusparking.co.uk.

Surcharges are charged by the service provider/car parking company independently and bare no relevance to Lotus Parking or our advertised prices.

Car parking providers reserve the right to charge you locally for additional days parking, airport access fees. If you require any information about additional fees please contact Lotus Parking before making your booking.

4. Amendments

Amendments of the arrival date to any new future arrival dates, where an amendment is requested on the arrival day, or at drop off ,or within 24 hours prior to the arrival date of the original booking. Such modified bookings cannot be amended and are non-refundable, if cancelled thereafter.

Lotus Parking will endeavour to amend a booking at short notice but no guarantees can be made outside of office hours.

Any changes made to a booking will be subject to amendment charges as follows: Outside of 24 hours of first parking date: any additional cost of parking.

5. CANCELLATIONS

All CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE DIRECTLY THROUGH Lotus Parking IN ORDER TO BE VALID. (Not with the car park). Please send an e-mail to info@lotusparking.co.uk or Phone: 01753358053 (Office hours only - Monday - Friday 09.00 to 17.00). Customers who wish to cancel their booking and give less than 48 hours notice will receive no refund. More than the above notice periods, all cancelled bookings are subject to a 15.00 GBP admin charge.

Any booking date and/or product amendments made to a Flexible rate booking will be subject to an amendment charge of 7.00 GBP. If you wish to change the date(s) and/or time(s) of travel, you may be able to change this provided the car park has availability and a payment is made for the charges for the amended booking dates/times. No cancellations will be accepted verbally.

All bookings are subject to cancellation charges per car as follows:
Outside of 24 hours of first parking date: £7.50 administration charge.
Within 24 hours of first parking date: 100% charge.

Non Flex or Saver products cannot be cancelled or amended.

Premium products cannot be cancelled or amended (Premium products indicated by the word "Premium" in the name of the product).

Where cancellation waiver has been purchased a booking can be amended at any time prior to the time the parking was originally booked for, only the additional cost of parking (if applicable) will be charged.

Cancellation Cover does not apply for bookings made the same day, booked for the following day or in certain products where stated

6. REFUNDS

No refunds are available for any unused days, missed flights, extra parking costs or other problems arising from the customers failure to obtain the voucher and follow the instructions within.

All bookings are subject to a non-refundable booking fee.

7. COMPLAINTS

Any outstanding, unresolved issues must be sent via email at the earliest opportunity to customercare@lotusparking.co.uk giving as much detail as possible.

We will always try to liaise between a customer and a car park to help resolve any issues.

8. Liability

The car parks will accept liability for proven acts of their negligence. Claims cannot be considered if you do not notify them of any loss or damage to your vehicle before you leave the car park or airport.

You will be contracting with the individual car park and will be subject to their Terms and Conditions which may contain exemption clauses and limit each company's liability. Full details of these are available from the individual car park.

Local car parking suppliers do not accept liability for the following:

  • Loose items or articles not otherwise permanently affixed to the vehicle.
  • Damage to windscreen, windows or tyres.
  • Mechanical or electrical defects to the vehicle, as these can arise in any circumstance.
  • Hire or hotel charges, however so incurred.
  • Personal possessions left in the vehicle.
  • Valuables left in the vehicle.
  • any faulty car keys, alarm fobs, house or other keys left on the key ring

Each car-parking supplier will generally accept responsibility for its own negligence and will maintain an insurance policy accordingly. It will not accept responsibility for the acts of any third party and neither will it accept responsibility for your car or anything in it, which is covered by any other insurance policy. Each car-parking supplier's terms and conditions are exhibited at each car park or are available on request.

All complaints regarding the provision of service must be received by email within 24 hours of return to the UK, any complaint received after this time will not be considered. If you encounter a problem at your chosen car park, please inform the service provider immediately to give them the opportunity to rectify the problem. If you do not advise the provider at the time it may be difficult to pursue a complaint at a later stage.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The total liability for Lotus Parking Ltd to the client for all claims arising from the use of this website and materials is limited to the cost of the client's booking including both parking and booking fees paid to lotusparking.co.uk as per the contract.

Accuracy of Website content, Pricing errors, and changes to law We "Lotus Parking Ltd" have the right to correct any price error and omissions on the website or elsewhere, and take appropriate action as soon as feasible after being notified of them. Neither we (Lotus Parking Ltd) nor our supplier are under any obligation to honour bookings for Product(s) where there is a pricing error, even if the customer has received a confirmation email. In these circumstances, Lotus Parking Ltd reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on the website and to either offer the customer an opportunity to keep the booking at the correct price or cancel the booking without any liability.

Save as otherwise stated in these Booking Terms and Conditions, in the event of any new laws or regulations resulting in any new, or increases to existing, taxes, charges or other fees, we reserve the right to pass on such amounts to you, whether or not your booking has been confirmed.

Suppliers provide the images and description of the Product, which are for illustrative purposes only, and to give a general “feel” for the Product, and are not intended to be exact representations of the Product that you have booked.

Regulation 28 (h) of the distance selling regulations 2013 state that contracts for the provision of transport and leisure services while the supplier provides services on a specific date or within a specific period are exempt to the traditional 'cooling off' period placed on select online goods and services. Cancellations are subject to the contractual terms agreed upon within these Terms & Conditions.
